During the session
We will usually start the session with introductions and a brief check-in to hear how you’re doing and to get a better idea of the support you might be looking to gain from the group. Once we’ve all gone round and had a chance to speak, we will have a better idea of how to use the remaining time. It might be that some people would find it useful to share how their week has been, or others may find it useful to ask questions to the group and see if anyone has had similar experiences they’d like to share. If a theme starts to emerge, we may spend some time exploring it a bit more. Near the end of the session, we will go round the group again and have a check-out that may consist of answering how you found the group or what your plans are for the evening. The time is yours and we’re here to facilitate to ensure the group runs as smoothly, fairly and safely as possible.
Tickets & Booking
This group is free to attend, but spaces are limited to 12 participants, so booking a ticket is required.
🔹 If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your place.
🔹 If you experience any barriers to booking, email us at groups@selfinjurysupport.org.uk for support.
Important: During the booking process, you'll need to provide an email address to receive your ticket. We will only use this information to contact you about your booking (e.g., cancellations or session updates). We are committed to keeping this group as anonymous as possible, but some logistical elements are unavoidable.
Accessibility
We want to ensure Take Space is as accessible as possible. The venue is wheelchair accessible and close to public transport, but we understand that accessibility needs vary.
🔹 If you have any specific requirements or barriers to attending, please let us know—we will do our best to accommodate you.
🔹 If we can’t meet your needs right now, we will work on ways to adapt the group for future sessions.
