Taking Action to Diversify Your Board - Peer Learning Course

When 1/12 trustees are named either John or David and fewer than 3% of trustees are under 30, it’s no secret that board diversity is an issue.

Join us in our brand new (and free!) action-focussed peer sessions, aimed at supporting you to take meaningful steps in making your governance more inclusive and accessible.

We will...

• Hear from a different Young Trustee Movement Ambassador each month, who will share top tips on a range of relevant issues rooted in their own lived experience.
• Provide a facilitated non-judgemental space for you to share your challenges, gain ideas from your peers, and bring your own examples of best practice.
• Offer chances to network and connect with other Trustee Boards working towards more inclusive governance.
• Support you in setting realistic goals and take meaningful steps, with an opportunity for you to update your peers in the following session and share your learnings as you go.

Session 1 - Thursday 26th May 12-1pm - Onboarding + Retaining young trustees

Session 2 - Thursday 30th June 12-1pm - Diverse Recruitment

Session 3 - Thursday 28th July 12-1pm - Beyond Board Meetings

Logistics

Whilst we believe you will get the most out of attending all 3 sessions, we understand that may not be practical. You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions.
