Interested in talent or what it actually means?  Come join the jam!

Following the success of the first two &#x27;Talent Jam&#x27;s&#x27;, we are continuing with this open invitation to join the conversation! The idea behind the ‘jam’ is to bring diverse perspectives together to swap stories, listen and to share experiences, ideas and thoughts. We actively encouraged curious questions, thinking out loud, half-shaped ideas and work in progress!The &#x27;jam&#x27; is open to all, whatever your sector...all you need to bring is an interest or curiosity in talent or what &#x27;talent&#x27; actually means.Here are just a few of the questions we have uncovered so far:•	Does talent really exist?•	How do know someone is talented?•	How is talent recognised and nurtured?•	How much of talent is environmental?•	What really gives someone a talent ‘advantage’?•	Does talent exist in the eye of the beholder…or perhaps the eye of those bestowing the label of &#x27;talent&#x27;?•	How about if you could do a talent pathway differently what would you do?•	How do we break the system and start again?Given there are so many questions…and, as yet, very few answers…we have decided to keep this conversation alive over the coming months. We all felt huge value in getting together with people from different sectors and with different views…and also took great comfort in finding others who perhaps shared our curious questions and interests in how to ‘do talent development differently’.
