The dreariest months of winter are upon us. January and February are casting their dark shadows. All gatherings are banned, and we are huddled inside our dens waiting for the storm to pass. What better way to spend these gloomy nights? So, dim the lights, pour yourself your favourite winter warmer, make yourself cosy and let the internationally renowned storyteller Clare Murphy take you away into mysterious lands. Clare will be joined by surprise guests for a trip around the world.All donations to this event will go to support Bristol Refugee Rights. We have been supporting thousands of people seeking asylum and refugees in the Bristol are since 2006. We provide extensive practical and emotional support to those most in need. She tells for all ages on all kinds of stages. She has performed in more than 20 countries to audiences of 5 to 5000 people. Her work ranges from science-stories to socio-political pieces to her beloved Irish mythology. She has had the honour of performing for President Mary Robinson as well as at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. “Masterly storytelling – all delivered at a pace which meant there was never a dull moment”. Kling’s autobiographical tales are as enchanting as they are true to life: hopping freight trains, getting hit by lightning, performing his banned play in Czechoslovakia, growing up in Minnesota, and eating things before knowing what they are.“I’m glad it’s recorded so I can watch it again and take in more of Kevin’s wit and wisdom.” ------British Indian storyteller<a href="https://peterchand.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Peter Chand</a> is one of Europe’s most renowned storytellers. From Southall to Singapore, Dublin to Delhi, Tyneside to Toronto, and many a place in between; he has enthralled audiences both near and far with his skillfully told tales. Peter regularly visits his family in the Punjab, India and collects traditional stories,
 and translates them into English. &quot;Brilliant! Loved hearing such wonderfully expressed stories from true Indian culture.
