About Lindsey Wilkinson:

Lindsey Wilkinson is a Chartered Landscape Architect and Fellow of both the Landscape Institute and the Royal Geographical Society. As a freelance consultant, she specialises in landscape architecture, green infrastructure, and historic landscapes. Lindsey holds advisory roles on several national and regional design review panels, including for the Design Council, Design South-East, and the National Trust. Her work supports planning and housing design quality across a range of public and private sector initiatives, offering clear, independent insight on landscape and design issues.

She currently works as a freelance consultant specialising in landscape architecture and green infrastructure, with expertise in historic landscape and greenspace, and is an active advocate of sustainable design-led schemes.

Lindsey holds several advisory positions on Design Review panels: Design Council Expert; Chair and Member of Design Review Panels for Design South East (DSE); Design Midlands and Cambridgeshire's Quality Panel; and Greater Cambridge Review Panel. Lindsey also sits on the National Trust's Design Advice Forum as a Specialist Advisor. For the Design Council, Lindsey sat as an Expert Associate on the DLUHC Pathfinders' Programme Expert Panel. Lindsey gave support during both phases, focusing on design coding delivery from a landscape perspective.

Her role in Design Review for the Design Council is as Expert Advisor/Critical Friend, contributing constructive professional opinion from an environmental perspective on design quality in all stages of the design and planning process.
