Alyce is a Registered Equine Veterinary Nurse (REVN) with extensive previous experience of the farm and equine industries, having grown up on a farm and managed local equine establishments, plus lots of qualifications including a BA (hons) degree in Equine Management and her stage 3 BHS qualifications. She is passionate about all thing’s horses! Having previously owned and competed her own horse Penny.
When it comes to your horse’s health, parasites like worms can cause all sorts of issues, and if left untreated they have the potential to cause life-threatening illness. Advice about worming and parasite control has changed dramatically in the last decade which causes confusion and differing opinions in horse owners. Alyce will be discussing current best practice and how to help prevent worm burden in your horse. She will be offering advice on treating and managing them and most importantly how to keep your horse healthy.
