Tameside Champions invite you to attend a celebration, information and networking event for Tameside residents to find out more about your local community representatives, organisations and charities and learn how they can support you and your family.You will be able to discover what the Tameside Champions are doing in your area and what is on offer from local services, charities and organisations and how you can get involved.The event will be attended by dignitaries including Madam Mayor and the Executive Leader. There will be presentations, speeches on a range of health, social and community topics, networking opportunities and workshops.You can learn more about who the Community Champions are and how you can become one. As well as our Champions Groups; Community, Age Friendly, Nutrition and Digital other Guests will include Active Tameside, Age UK, Neighbourhood Watch, Diversity Matters, Action Together and many more.Tickets are FREE and everyone is welcome.A FREE light lunch and drinks will be provided.Tuesday 1 March 10:00 – 15:00Hyde Town Hall
