About this event
Welcome to the Tameside Female Entrepreneurs Networking Event! Join us for a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded women in business who work and live in Tameside.
This in-person event will be held at Graze Manchester, the perfect setting for inspiring conversations and collaborations, where tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches are available to purchase.
This time, we've got TWO fantastic local women in business talking about all things Growth Mindset and HR.
First, we'll hear from Rachel Mellish from Rach's Wellness Loft about Break the Block: Shifting Mindsets for Growth in Business & Life:
We all have moments where self-doubt, fear of failure, or old beliefs hold us back — whether it’s launching something new, raising our prices, or simply speaking up. In this empowering session, we’ll explore the mindset blockers that show up in both business and life, and how to start shifting them.
You’ll learn the difference between fixed and growth mindset, discover how your thoughts shape your actions, and create new, supportive statements to help you move forward with more confidence and clarity.
Through reflection, group discussion and practical tools, this session will help you:- Identify where you might be holding yourself back- Shift your thinking using powerful growth mindset statements- Leave with one simple belief to start practising right away
Designed for women in business who are ready to let go of limits and lead from a place of possibility!
Then, HR expert Michelle Hollewyn from Holla HR will be discussing employing staff, engaging with freelancers and also what to consider if you are the freelancer/contractor.
If you’ve ever wondered what it means to employ people for your business, what the benefits are, what the risks are and of course the legal impacts, then this session is for you. Join us as we discuss the differences of engaging people to your business, whether they’re directly employed or a freelancer and how you can make the decision that’s right for your business model while getting great people working with you to take your business to the next level!
Michelle will also kindly be offering free 20-minute chats after the event for anyone who has any questions or wants to discuss personal matters (If you're interested, we will be in touch to book a slot).
Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, this event is designed to help you network, learn, and grow your business. Don't miss out on this chance to build valuable relationships and gain insights from fellow female entrepreneurs.

About TFE
TFE was setup by Katie from Keppel Leopard Creative and Brianna from Digital Flamingo. Having met at a previous networking event, Katie and Brianna know how important it is to have a supportive network around you when running your own business. Both felt that Tameside was missing a space where female business owners could connect with each other, share ideas, collaborate and get support growing their businesses.
Their vision is to create a regular event for Female Entrepreneurs in Tameside to attend.
