Taster session for The Creative Writing Programme in East Grinstead

East Grinstead LibraryEast Grinstead, England
Saturday, Apr 25 from 10 am to 12 pm GMT+1
Overview

Join us for a practical writing workshop and find out more about our course and our innovative approach to teaching creative writing.

Join one of our writing tutors Mel Parks for a practical writing session to explore our unique approach to teaching on our two-year part-time, university level, Creative Writing Programme – which starts in September 2026 online or in-person in Brighton, Worthing, East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Hastings and London.

Meet other writers who are thinking of working with us and discuss our courses with Mel and our course co-ordinator Sophie Anderson - who's also an alumna of the programme and a published author.

Get a pen and paper alongside your laptop together with your imagination and enthusiasm and see whether the Creative Writing Programme could help you to fulfill your dream of becoming a writer.

East Grinstead Library is fully accessible for wheelchair users but if you have any specific requirements, please let Sophie know - sophie@creativewritingprogramme.org.uk

Tickets are non-refundable because of Eventbrite's high fees, but you can transfer to another taster session later in the year. The content in the taster session is just as relevant if you're considering studying online or in-person at one of our venues across London and the south-east.
