Ark is an international charity, transforming lives through education. We exist to ensure that every young person, regardless of their background, has access to a great education and real choices in life.In the UK, we are a network of 35, non-selective, state schools. We are educating over 21,000 young people across the UK and our international team is working with governments and partners across the world. We exist to ensure that every young person, regardless of their background, has access to a great education and real choices in life.In the ten years since our first school opened, our focus has been on innovating teaching, learning and leadership - that is why we established programmes such as Mathematics Mastery, Teaching Leaders, Future Leaders and Frontline.We are always looking at ways of training, developing and supporting teachers, not just in our schools but across the world. We run regular, free CPD events across the UK, open to all teachers, including an annual conference featuring some of the biggest names in education. We also provide resources, tips and advice for teachers and topical education blogs and articles.

At Teach 2017, a free, one-day professional development conference for teachers and school leaders, we will investigate just what makes excellent teaching.
You will spend the day hearing from leading educationalists and high-profile keynote speakers, taking part in practical workshops and lively debates, and networking with peers from across the country.
You will also have the opportunity to choose from 32 professional development sessions throughout the day – giving you the chance to really personalise your conference experience.
