Join experienced educator and trainer Graham Chatterley for this in depth behaviour training day. With 20 years education experience in the classroom and in leadership across Primary, Secondary, SEMH, PMLD

The course will focus on giving educators the tools to reduce the use of force by giving delegates a greater understanding of the reasons for challenging behaviour, how to prevent, how to de-escalate and when totally necessary, how to physically intervene.

The content of the day will consist of :-

Stages of a crisis

Personal space and body language

De-escalation

Values

Understanding the Law

1 person prompts, guides and escorts plus strategies for small children

Understanding and reworking the conflict spiral

Changing the perceptions of challenging behaviour

Teaching positive behaviour

Each delegate will recieve a certificate that lasts 2 years and a work book.

Organisations must send a minimum of 2 delegates unless they already have Team Teach Trained staff

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day
