‘Sport for all. How can we better promote physical activity for everyone in the Policing family?’Team Police and PSUK are passionate about promoting sport and physical activity in our police forces. We share this passion with many like-minded organisations and individuals who are keen to show their support for this important cause.On the day you will hear from Peter Darling and Lisa Smith, two inspirational CEO's of police sports clubs who have been tackling this issue at a grassroot level in their respective areas of Sheffield and Birmingham. This will be followed by a panel discussion, led by Javid Oomer, Detective Chief Superintendant Staffordshire and Rachel Kearton, Deputy Chief Constable Suffolk Police. There will then be a Q and A’s session from the audience when you can direct your burning questions to the panel.TeamPolice is excited to be holding this series of webinars to debate and promote the importance of sport to our overall health. Future plans for TeamPolice virtual events …In the future, our webinars will be hosted by Cadence rather than zoom. Cadence is a fantastic community platform that offers a one-stop-shop for videoconferencing, networking, discussion, and creating and sharing memorable moments.For the 23rd February webinar, we will be soft-launching the platform, this means we will use Zoom as our video conferencing tool, but all attendees will have access to the Cadence platform so we can continue the conversation even after the live session has ended.
