After work drinks for tech startups.

LOCATION CHANGE! We used to host the event at The Fox, the new location is The Windmill (27 Tabernacle St, Shoreditch, London EC2A 4DE) literally a block away from the Fox.

We found ourselves reminiscing about the time when the tech scene in London was new and you could just show up to events if you were curious about tech and startups. Today the startup ecosystem is far more professional than it was which is great but we miss the simplicity of just coming to a casual drinks thing with other founders rather than speed networking after a talk, workshop or panel. So we decided to do this - casual after-work drinks for people working or interested in tech startups.

The venues The Fox was chosen as its located within 5-15 minutes walk for most tech startups in London and most of us probably already go there for drinks on Friday anyway.

HOUSE RULES

- let Jenny or Oliver know when you’ve arrived so we could introduce you to everyone. We are not booking the venue for ourselves, so if you showed up without introducing yourself you may find yourself spending half an hour celebrating someone’s birthday party before you realised you’re sitting with the wrong bunch.

- no hard sales, this is a friendly after-work tech drinks thing so no heavy-handed pitching

- if drinking is not your thing that's cool come and hang out anyway
