Event description

Description

Blockchain is dry, right? For something with a promise to change so much about our world, "decentralised, distributed public ledger system" doesn't live up to the hype. Luckily, Tech Tales uses storytelling to help explain new technology in creative ways. Together, we'll find out why is blockchain being called the "second internet" and explore how it could change how we drive, buy, travel and vote.

Liberty launched Tech Tales in 2018 to fill the knowledge gap in emerging technologies. She leverages her business, innovation and content experience to deliver explainers that are engaging, relevant and useful for businesses who want to understand the changing world. Liberty previously led the innovation agency L Marks to 10x growth as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Customer Officer. She pioneered new techniques in startup-corporate collaboration, creating and managing 25 startup accelerator programmes in the UK, Israel, Spain and Japan with partners like BMW, Bupa, and EDF Energy. Receiving over 4,000 applications from startups with innovative tech products, Liberty knows how to filter the hype from the hyper-relevant. Her eye for interesting content springs from leading the production team on the Apple iPad App of the Year 2013, Disney Animated, created in partnership with Walt Disney Animation Studios and awarded a BAFTA in 2014 for its exploration of how animated films are created.

Hosted at Campus London, a Google Space. Presentation start: 7pm. Free for all.
