Our condensed two day programme will inspire, enthuse and connect neurons and problem solvers alike. This is a unique opportunity to consider unique topics among a unique audience. 
We want GPs, Consultants, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Nurses, Patients, Advocacy , Commercial and Community Groups, Designers, Tech Entrepreneurs, Commissioners to learn together in a truly innovative multi-disciplinary learning environment.

In a series of creative, short-form talks, this year’s Hive entrepreneurs will share how their visionary ideas and innovations are affecting change in every area of health and medicine. This session will feature disruptive thinking applied to therapeutics for aging and the microbiome, new tools for diagnosing cancers, accessible models of global philanthropy, creative methods for delivering care to those in need, engaging public health initiatives, managing long-term disease, and much more.

 We’ve made significant strides in understanding exactly what happens to our bodies as we age. Might we master our bodies and soulful understanding of self to the point that we will determine the way we die? Topics considered for this session include the caregiver crisis, dementia, the neuroarchitecture of memory, and the science of aging.

Might this approach yield effective solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems? Marcel Proust wrote, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” Topics considered for this session include the treatment of rare diseases, homelessness, robotic vision, and mental illness with fresh paradigms.

Can I select individual sessions? Tickets are available for individual sessions as well as the whole 2 day event by clicking on the Register button on the event page.  
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? The event will be held in the Baylis Suite at Plymouth Science Park. The park is conveniently located near landmark sites such as Derriford Hospital, the Peninsula Medical School and the University of St Mark and St John, so is easily accessible by bus. Parking will be available on the day and details, including parking permits, will be emailed out 2 days in advance.
