A morning session with a renowned, local company who will share their commitment to Health and Safety, the journey they are on and take us on a tour of their site in Middlesbrough. You will be able to view up close how Health and Safety is built into AV Dawson mentality and how it actually works ‘live’.
You will get to walk the site and understand how Health and Safety is integrated, then after a short break hear how the organisation started, where it is at now and where it wants to be, all of which has Health and Safety at its heart.
This is a live event so you will need to bring safety footwear, helmet and hi vis jacket/waistcoat (subject to weather)
You will be able to see all elements of the business activities and we guarantee, its well worthwhile. We will see road, train and warehouse operations and, subject to time/tides and business hopefully a ship in port too.
The morning will include:
• 0830 – arrival and Refreshments
• 0900 - 0930 – Introductions and tour plan
• 0930 – 1130 (approx.) Site tours with hosts
• 1130 – 1200 – Q & A Session
• 1200 – 1230 – Review and Lunch
• 1230 – 1330 – End of session
In line with IOSH strategy, this live event will you bring us close to how logistics is being managed and how all elements of sustainability, protecting the environment, occupational safety, to name but a few are being addressed.
This is going to be a great opportunity to visit a local employer, understand their business and look at integration of Health and Safety and our IOSH Strategy.
