He reflects on his experiences in and out of government since then, the political landscape after the 2024 general election, why he thinks politics has become so discredited and how this can be fixed.

About the speaker:

John Glen MP has been the Member of Parliament for Salisbury since 2010 and has served as Arts Minister, City Minister, and later as Chief Secretary and Paymaster General. Now, he is Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Leader of the Opposition and a member of the Treasury Select Committee. He also read History at Mansfield College, Oxford.
