FAQs

📍Where do we meet?

This event takes place near the Cottage Car Park for Thameside Nature Discovery Park. This is at the entrance of the site before you go through the gate.

🥾What should we wear?

Most of our events are held outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather.  We recommend layers (top and bottom), which can get mucky. Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them.

🔥What should we bring? Is food provided?

Weather permitting, we will have a campfire at the end of the session.  You are welcome to bring something to toast. Ideas include: crumpets, little malt loaves, toasting tea cakes, sweet waffles, brioche, fruit, e.g,. pineapple/mango. Anything you can warm through on a stick, really – we provide toasting forks.  No uncooked meat or nuts, please. Marshmallows and popcorn are not recommended for children under the age of 5.

🌍Where are you based?

We are located in Thurrock, between East Tilbury and Stanford-le-Hope
