The Institute for Science and Society (ISS) is an international centre for Science and Technology Studies, based in theSchool of Sociology and Social Policy.Our cutting edge teaching and research focuses on the social, political and ethical aspects of science and technology.ISS is located within the School of Sociology and Social Policy, in the Law and Social Sciences building, on University Park Campus in Nottingham.

Alan Irwin is a Professor in the Department of Organization and Vice-President of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark. His PhD is from the University of Manchester and he has held previous appointments at Manchester, Brunel and Liverpool. 
Refreshments will be served in the Atrium, Law and Social Science Building from 4.45pm.  The lecture will begin at 5.30pm in Room B63, Law and Social Science Building - all welcome!
