THE ART OF HEALTHY BOUNDARIES
Join us for a transformative experience exploring healthy personal boundaries through tapping and sound therapy.
Boundaries are like property lines, fences, or lines in the sand. They define where you end and someone or something else begins - this is me and that is you. That is there and this is here. Healthy boundaries is a choice you make once you decide what behaviours are acceptable to you and what is not.
DYSFUNCTIONAL BOUNDARIES
Dysfunctional boundaries may manifest in one of two ways:
1.Too open/vulnerable - little or lack of boundaries
2.Too impenetrable with brick walls - too hard a boundary
Decernment are balance are the keys like most things.
SETTING CLEAR BOUNDARIES
If you have problems setting clear boundaries like, saying 'YES', when you'd prefer to say NO. Does this then make you feel dis-empowered, resentful or angry, yet you feel guilty at the same time? Boundaries get confusing for us all when its unclear, indecisive or when you don't know what you want?
LACK OF BOUNDARIES
If you are not sure you are good at setting boundaries or indeed have any at all, ask yourself these questions.
- How often do I worry about what other people think?
- Do I feel guilty for wanting to do things by myself?
- When did I last say no to someone?
- When did I last say yes to something I secretly didn’t want to do?
- Do I feel like I deserve respect or I have to earn it by being ‘nice’?
- When I think about saying no to someone, do I feel afraid? Or calm inside?
This is where TAPPING comes in.
TAPPING/EFT
Based on the principles of acupuncture, EFT/Tapping stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. It is also simply known as Tapping. It is a formula that involves "tapping" on various main acupressure/acupuncture points while focusing on a specific problem. This system has been found remarkably effective for all sorts of issues, from anxiety and depression to phobias and even physical illnesses. For the purposes of this event the focus will be on 'Healthy Boundaries
Tapping stimulates the points that calm the body and tells your body and mind you are now safe. It also clears resistance to change, guilt, old ways, and the resistance to setting new boundaries. This is a self- empowering tool that you learn and can use at anytime.
GONG MEDITATION/SOUND BATH
The EFT/Tapping workshop will be followed by a guided Sound Healing Meditation to help further seal, heal, restore and balance.
We work with intention that is both empowering and grounding whilst allowing the body to find its own 'key notes'. There is nothing you need do - just relax into the moment, in your own space and simply allow the sounds to move through you.
This will be a gentle, uplifting, restful, healing, clarifying and reviving sensory `Sound' conclusion to the EFT/Tapping workshop.
This event will include an interim break for refreshments

- The sessions are for ADULTS only, unless otherwise stated at individual events.
- Not advisable during pregnancy within the first 3 months and the last 3 months.
- If you have a pre-existing illness or metal implants (pins, screws, pacemaker etc) please ensure you consult your GP before attending. It may otherwise resonate the metal or change the rhythm of the pacemaker.
- Recent surgery – within the last 6 six weeks.
- If you have a history of serious psychological/mental disturbance, please consult your GP before attending.
- Any condition that is sound sensitive can be triggered by sound – tinnitus, Ménière’s disease, epilepsy,
