About this event

  • 2 hours

This workshop will explore ways in which poets might write freely - incorporating observation, imagination, daydreaming, unexpected encounters, memory and self - and wire it all together to make a coherent poem.

Steve Ely has published over a dozen books of poetry, including Englaland, Lectio Violant, The European Eel and Lives of British Shrews. His latest book of poems, Eely, was published by Longbarrow Press earlier this year. Orasaigh, his collaboration with photographer Michael Faint, will be published by Broken Sleep Books in August.
