The Athena Network is a business networking and development club for female business owners and executives.

We meet virtually on a monthly basis, except August and December. In the summer and winter we have in person regional networking events.

Join us for the Athena Network Bedfordshire & Mid Hertfordshire Summer Networking Event at Knebworth Golf Club.

We will have members from all our groups and also from other regions, open to visitors.

Yes, if you're looking for a new networking opportunity.

I’m brand new to networking, I’m nervous…is this for me?

Of course, we'd love to help you on your networking journey, we can guarantee you'll be welcomed with a smile (lots of smiles!) and given some lovely introductions to our existing members who will all want to know about you and your business.

I’m not so local, can I come?

Absolutely, Athena is national, if you enjoy connecting with the network we can then point you in the right direction for an official Athena meeting visit.

I haven’t yet started my business, can I come?

Yes for sure, one of our key pillars is support and many businesses have been born or transformed through our community, we look forward to meeting you.

I'm looking for a particular sector of connections for my industry, is this for me?

Absolutely. Large or small, new to networking or you've been around a long time, this is for you, the breadth and depth of our network, and the vast range of industry sectors represented, mean that there are always the right kind of connections to be make over the long term, regardless of industry.

I'm looking for larger companies, not one man bands, is this for me?

For sure, the breadth and depth of industry sectors represented in our community means that both the smallest and largest of firms can find relevant connections and business relationships. We help our attendees to focus on this rather than selling to the room, for greater success and less "ick".

I'm not free for the whole time, can I still come?

As long as you arrive by 11.30 and can stay until 2pm yes that's fine, so that you can get the most from it and build relationships.
