The Backway by Cherno Jagne presents a young economic migrant (Momodou) returning to the home country that he was illegally smuggled out of 2 years ago, following his deportation from the U.K. The screening is followed by a panel discussion with the director Cherno Jagne, Shereener Browne (Orísun Productions), and Prof. Clare Finburgh Delijani. Chair: Dr Natalie Katsou. Food prepared by Plateful Cafe (refugee-led charity) will be available to purchase on site.
