The Big Barn Dance

Celebrate the summer at our 5th annual Big Barn Dance! A little bit Country, a little bit Ceilidh, a lot of fun! Band, Bar, Games, Raffle!

Indoor Arena, West Fenton, North Berwick on Saturday 13th June, 6pm-9.30pm. All proceeds support Muirfield Riding Therapy.

One of the busiest and most popular ceilidh bands in Scotland, Clappy Doo, will be back; live music to get your up on your feet, and experienced Line Dancing instructor, Heather Baxter to take you through your paces, learning a dance to Luke Combs.

Go Wild West with your dress, prize for the Best Dressed. We'll have lots of themed Games and our Big Barn Dance Raffle to keep everyone entertained!

Food & Drink

Bring your own Picnic Supper - prize for the Best Picnic - our Judge will award points for the best presentation! With a stocked Bar - this isn't a byob event - we'll have beer, wine, cans of cocktails, plus non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks and snacks to buy all night.*

All tickets must be pre-booked, here online or at our Arena by Friday 12th June 2026.

Useful info

Be sure to wear your dancing boots - cowboy, wellies, riding boots - as our Arena surface gets very messy. Get dressed up and show us your Country style!

Get your friends, family together. All ages welcome - under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian 18+

Make a night of it

Our Indoor Arena, West Fenton, EH39 5AL is approx one mile inland from the village of Gullane. We are not on a bus route, but lots of locals cycle to our event. We also have a big car park - designate your driver now, or you may want to book your taxi in advance, there are plenty of local taxi firms. If you want to continue your evening afterwards, you might like to visit one of the local bars in Gullane including The Mallard, The Bonnie Badger, and The Old Clubhouse

All proceeds support the work of Muirfield Riding Therapy. Our charity truly changes lives for children and adults with additional needs – and the families who support them. We receive no state funding; every rider, session and breakthrough is made possible by the generosity of our supporters. And the impact is profound; through equine-assisted therapy and education, we’ve seen riders regain mobility, confidence, speech and independence. Children improve school attendance and performance. For many, Muirfield Riding Therapy is more than therapy – it’s hope.
