The Big Choice Vote Launch

The Students’ Union is a democratic organisation run by students for students with over 20,000 members, to represent student views to the University at all levels and to provide support services for its members.

Greenwich Student Union

The Union spends over £100,000 a year to pay four students to make decisions on your behalf. Only 8% of students vote to elect them. DOES THIS NEED TO CHANGE? What is it? This launch will bring together a panel of student representatives and campaigners across the Greenwich student community to answer this question and topics including what a democracy looks like at  GSU and how every student can be empowered to be a part of it.   Discussions will incorporate the Big Choice referendum and the four choices our 20,000 have the opportunity to make between the 11-18th October.  What will the launch include? -Drinks reception and democracy exhibition -Open discussion forum + Q+A (live recorded)  -Voting stall for attendees    -Networking and 50% off food in the Lower Deck bar -Entry to the new Lower Deck bar 
Take control of the changes you want to see at the University of Greenwich and be the first determine how the Students' Union is run.  Join us in the quad of the Atrium of the Dreadnought building at 5 pm.  Register now to guarantee a drink on arrival and name badge.  NOTICE: YOU MUST BE A CURRENT GREENWICH UNIVERSITY STUDENT/STAFF MEMBER TO REGISTER AND ATTEND THIS EVENT

Unfortunately we have ran out of tickets! Due to capacity levels in the Dreadnought building, we only had a set number of tickets available. Please feel free to watch the event on our live-stream via our Facebook page and visit the exhibition from the 11-18th October as well as casting your vote.
