The Big EO Clean Up

We all want Exeter to be a clean, green place for everyone to enjoy.

Four local businesses, Coastal Recycling, Stephens Scown, Absolute PR and Marketing and Market Carpets are celebrating employee ownership day and to mark the day, we’re stepping outside the workplace and into our city - caring for shared spaces, protecting the environment, and showing what ownership really means.

We'd love you to join us!

Whether you're a shop owner, office team or long-time resident, the plan is to walk from your respective workplace and head to our meeting point, Stephens Scown on Southernhay for 1.00pm. All we ask is that you're armed with bags, gloves or pickers to collect litter on the way.

Not in central Exeter and want to get involved? Grab your colleagues and head out for a lunchtime litter pick. Tag any photos using #thebigEOcleanup

PLEASE NOTE: We are meeting after the litter pick at 1.00pm, we would like you to collect your rubbish before this time.

Once gathered at Stephens Scown, you can drop your bags of rubbish into the Coastal Recycling skip, then enjoy a well-earned cuppa.

No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help out. We can't think of a better way to spend a (hopefully sunny) Friday afternoon.
