The Big Scream

The Boatyard Brunch CaféCullercoats, England
Sunday, Apr 26 from 6 pm to 10 pm GMT+1
Overview

Get it off your chest & give it to the sea.

II • THE BIG SCREAM • SPRING 26

This sustainable screaming workshop will guide you through the techniques needed to protect your voice whilst expressing yourself fully. Together, we'll practice exercises, check in with our hearts, and learn to scream safely for those moments when nothing else will do.

Just before sunset, we'll head over to the beach, dip our toes in the water, and scream the biggest scream Newcastle's ever heard!

After some grounding work, we'll head back to the Boatyard for drinks, good vibes, and lots of mad love.

About Factory of Love

Factory of Love is a mad storytelling collective founded by Amanda Grace and Jess Corner. We believe in transformative justice rooted in communal practice, and that mad love can save us all.

Jess (she/they) is a theatre maker and voice coach dedicated to inclusive, imaginative, and informed practice that empowers everyone to speak with safety and confidence.

Amanda (she/her) is a performer of care, integrating theatrical frameworks and abolitionist psychology theory to create moments of genuine empathy.

About The Boatyard

An independent cafe on Cullercoats sea front serving coffee & brunch with the best Geordie hospitality. Established in 2015, the Boatyard's evolving menu features traditional dishes alongside more creative options, with vegan & dietary choices. We source locally and make what we can from scratch.
