Welcome to ‘The Big Step Up’ Open Session!
It’s summer term and it’s time for children to rest, reset, and start to look forward to their exciting new chapter. This engaging workshop is designed to help Year 6/Primary 7* students rediscover their joy of learning while building confidence and gently preparing for what’s next.
What will they do?
• Take part in fun team challenges and problem-solving activities
• Build confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment
• Develop skills they’ll use in secondary school
• Learn simple strategies to handle worries and new situations
Who’s it for?
Perfect for children in Year 6, especially those who:
• Feel tired after SATs/SNSAs*
• Would benefit from a confidence boost
• Are a little unsure about starting secondary school
• Or simply want to enjoy learning in a new way
