The Big Weekender!
Devon & Cornwall weekender - Porches, drives, good friends. Epic routes, stunning countryside, gourmet eats, happy vibes!
THE BIG WEEKENDER, PR #6
Devon & Cornwall - March 27–29
*Optional early arrival: Thursday March 26
There’s a moment you get when in Devon & Cornwall - when the roads open up, the coastline turns wild & the Atlantic air hits - where you realise this is exactly what a Porsche weekend should feel like!
Few parts of the country rival the raw, rugged beauty of these two counties: dramatic cliffs and wild Atlantic horizons, historic towns & tucked-away fishing villages, lighthouses standing proud against the elements & castles steeped in legend.
The roads change character mile by mile; from fast, flowing stretches to technical, rewarding sections that keep you fully engaged from start to finish.
This isn’t a “let’s see where we end up” kind of trip. The entire weekend has been carefully built, researched & pre-driven by local hosts Leon & Stew. Nothing is accidental: the routes are varied & exhilarating, the stops are genuinely worth stopping for & the pacing is designed so you can enjoy it all without it feeling rushed.
And because it’s a small, carefully controlled group (limited to 10 cars) the experience stays bespoke, calm & intimate. The kind of weekend where friendships form naturally over great coffee, standout local food, scenic stops, sightseeing & the occasional “we so need to drive that again!"
🏴☠️ 🏴☠️ 🏴☠️
The Format
A relaxed 2 night getaway with brilliant stops & shared meals. Join in as much (or as little) as you like!
*Want to make more of it? Turn it into a 3 night stay with the optional Thursday arrival.

Itinerary
Friday March 27 - Scenic Drive, Exeter To Newquay
We start the day properly: great coffee, great cars & a great route that builds beautifully.
The scenic run begins as we head towards Barnstaple to join one of the South West’s truly great driving roads; the A39 (Atlantic Highway) - a sweeping, flowing stretch that perfectly sets the tone for the weekend ahead.
Along the way, we may weave in a few memorable highlights:
Tintagel Castle - history & dramatic coastlines
Hawksfield Artisan Village - great coffee & boutique browsing
Trevose Head Lighthouse - peaceful viewpoints & big Atlantic skies!
We’ll then make our way into Newquay for hotel check-in before the evening unfolds. You're very welcome to join the group for dinner (*see below) or simply do your own thing and enjoy the town at your own pace.
*Friday Evening - Group Dinner
We’ve secured a group booking at a highly regarded country pub, where the award-winning Chef has created a bespoke three-course menu exclusively for our group. It’s a one-off dining experience and the perfect end to a great day’s driving - the food is seriously good… trust us!
£50 per person (exc drinks), prepayment required to Leon. We will provide you with the payment link. Please let us know as soon as you can if you’d like to join.
Hotel: we can make recommendations, or you’re welcome to arrange your own accommodation.
Saturday March 28 - Coastal Drive & Photos
After a relaxed, unhurried breakfast we set off once more - ready for a day devoted to dramatic coastlines, breathtaking scenery & unforgettable roads that beg to be driven!
Our drive continues along along the coast via Sennen & Land’s End, finishing at St Michael’s Mount for a scenic end to the day - plus a delicious, local dinner.
Hotel: we can make recommendations, or you’re welcome to arrange your own accommodation.
Sunday March 29 - Wind Down & Head Home
A proper finish to round things off beautifully.
- 10:30am brunch spot reserved, with breathtaking views stretching out over the Atlantic Ocean
- Followed by one final exhilarating run to savour the road
