Earlier this month, UCL School of Management's Research Communications team had the pleasure of speaking with Associate Professor and MRes/Phd in Management Programme Director Colin M. Fisher, about his groundbreaking new book The Collective Edge: Unlocking the Secret Power of Groups, which was recently published by Simon & Schuster. To mark this remarkable achievement, UCL School of Management will be hosting the official launch of The Collective Edge on Level 50, One Canada Square, Canary Wharf.

In his book, Colin challenges the belief that success is built by individuals alone, arguing instead that thriving in the modern world depends on the power of groups. Drawing on decades of research in organisational behaviour and psychology, he highlights how communication, structure, and conflict management are critical enablers of success. He shares insight into how to use the science of group dynamics to live and work together better. The Collective Edge is an invaluable book that will aid society; whether you are a leader, a colleague, or a sole trader navigating group dynamics, Colin offers clarity and tangible strategies to help elevate how groups function and flourish.

Join us for an evening experience to hear further insights from Colin and his book, as well as have the chance to win one of four signed copies*.
