This year's Bristol Institute for Learning and Teaching (BILT) conference, taking place on Zoom, will explore how different connections have been established and nurtured, both in-person and online, and how we can take this forward into next year for both new and returning students. Specifically, we will focus on:

Connecting with tutees
Connecting with the city
Connecting to the curriculum
Connecting with cohorts

How to join on Zoom

Once you have registered you will receive an auto confirmation email from Eventbrite, the 'additional information' section of the email contains the Zoom links to join each session on the day as well as some pre-session reading for 'Connecting to the curriculum'.

Tips for Zoom conference sessions 

Browser: We highly recommend using Chrome or Firefox as your web browser for the best experience

Connection: As we all know from remote working, connection issues do occur. If you have connection issues during the session first wait, Zoom will try to re-establish your connection. If the issue persists, leave or shut down the session and try re-joining. If the problem persists or if you are unable to join the session don't worry, it will be recorded so you can catch up later.

Housekeeping: We kindly ask you to ensure your microphone and camera are switched off for the duration of the conference (unless you are presenting!). If you would like to contribute a comment or ask a question, please do so via the Chat function.

Recording: All conference sessions and associated Chat is being recorded and will be available on the BILT Video Channel following the conference.
