The Connection Collective

The Connection Collective

Overview

Adults aged 30–59 are often expected to just keep calm and carry on, managing work, family, finances, and change without support.

The Connection Collective offers a space where people aged 30–59 can build new communal relationships that support a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Research has shown that adults who engage in creative activities report significantly higher wellbeing and life satisfaction—with UK studies finding the impact of arts and crafts on wellbeing to be comparable to being in employment (ARU.ac.UK). Engaging in creative sessions is also associated with up to a 20% higher likelihood of reporting very good or excellent mental health (Psychiatry.org), highlighting the powerful role creativity plays in everyday wellbeing.

That’s why we exist: to bring people together at midlife, a stage that’s too often overlooked; creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where adults can connect, feel part of a community, and take part in creative activities that support wellbeing.

At a time of cost-of-living pressures, global uncertainty, and constant change, many people feel isolated while carrying a lot. The Connection Collective is here to remind you that you’re not alone—no matter what the media would have us believe.

Through shared creativity, relaxed social connection, and guided support, we help people:

  • build confidence and self-expression
  • feel less isolated without clinical labels or pressure
  • strengthen community connections that last beyond the room

This is not about fixing people—that is not what we do. It’s about belonging, being seen, and having the confidence to reach for more when life feels heavy.

Come as you are.
Connect at your own pace.
Be part of something that says coping alone isn’t the only option.
