Have you ever watched people dance and felt something stir in you — a longing to move, to be seen, to feel that kind of ease in your body and with other people?

This class is about that feeling.

The Connection Journey will explore somatic consent, grounding practices as well as partner work, to finally make space for a little combo to integrate the experience and our new felt sensation.

What we'll dive into :

→ The foundational feel of Zouk and Contemporary dance as a door for authentic movement — fluid, connected, and deeply musical.

→ Mindful presence, muscle engagement, breathe patterns.

→ How to lead and follow without words.

→ A relaxed social environment to feel it all come alive.

Who is this for?

People looking for connection. Complete beginners. Curious movers. People who said "I've always wanted to try partner dance." or "I feel disconnected from my body". Solo attendees and duos both welcome — we rotate partners so everyone gets to practice and connect with the whole group.

Practical details :

📍 The Arlington Center, Arlington, MA
🕐 Tuesday June, 2nd · 7 – 9 PM (2 hours)
👟 Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Soft-soled shoes or socks work great.
💧 Water break mid-class. Bring a bottle.
