Find out more about Devon's citizens’ assembly  on climate change, including why it was held, how it was run and  its recommendations.

Devon Climate Emergency held a citizens’ assembly to consider how Devon should meet the big challenges of climate change. A representative sample of 70 Devon citizens from different social backgrounds and ages were invited to take part in the Devon Climate Assembly over the summer of 2021. Their recommendations are now public. Kaela Scott from Involve, the independent facilitators of the Devon Climate Assembly, will present the assembly report and be available to answer your questions about the citizens’ assembly process. The Devon Climate Emergency project manager, Emily Reed, will explain the next steps towards completing the Devon Carbon Plan.
