Come join us for our workshop for mental health week and make your very own emotional support chicken. You can choose to Knit OR Crochet! The choice is yours!
Bring bits and bobs of all the Aran or dk weight yarns you have, swap with others to create your very own individual emotional support chicken. Or bring your own selection to use. Whatever you prefer!
Swap amongst friends or others as a little reminder that other people are always around us to share and support teach other when you look at your awesome chicken! (You don't have to swap yarns if you don't want to!)
This fun and funky pattern is written by and with kind permission for us to run this workshop. You will be provided with either a knit or crochet pattern whatever you choose. You will also be provided with eyes for your chick! Please bring a 4 mm hook with you or 4.5 mm needles.
There will also be a prize for the best chicken name, funnier the better! Nobody can steal Henny Mercury.... you know where that's going 🤣
There will be cake and coffee and no doubt- lots of laughter!
