If you're wondering whether a career in Engineering, Motor Vehicle, Manufacturing or Electrical is for you, come along to our Engineering Centre Open Event in Brighouse on Thursday 7th April, 3:30-6:30pm!<ul><li>Discover our Engineering Centre offer - from full-time study programmes to apprenticeships.</li><li>Enjoy a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, including workshops and industry standard machinery.</li><li>Talk to our industry experts and ask any questions you might have.</li><li>Find out more about getting started with an apprenticeship.</li><li>Apply for your desired course or an apprenticeship vacancy on the day!</li></ul>About The Engineering CentreThe Engineering sector currently has a massive skills shortage and needs to employ approximately 186,000 skilled people for the next 3 years to catch up! The Engineering Centre is on a mission to play its part and try and fill that shortage for our local and surrounding communities, and to be able to offer high quality employer-led courses and apprenticeships.Our industry standard centre perfectly reflects the type of facilities you will find in a workplace, including:

<ul><li>Garage Workshop with all the latest diagnostic equipment and ramps to carry out light vehicle maintenance
</li><li>Custom-built Welding and Fabrication Area
</li><li>Electrical Workshop with individual bays
</li><li>Open space dedicated to milling and turning
