Birmingham’s most dynamic Urban Arts festival is back, with an exciting line up for 2016 – featuring established legends alongside exciting new talents. Once again transforming the forgotten, grey space beneath the Hockley Flyover into an oasis of cultural expression, The Flyover Show hosts a one day festival of music, art & dance in an unconventional & challenging space. 
Created & curated by award winning jazz musician, Soweto Kinch, this year The Flyover Show celebrates a cultural legacy through Ernest Ranglin & Basil Gabbidon – legendary figures in reggae, roots & jazz. 
Musical icon, Eska, will be also returning to The Flyover Show – joining a showcase of new & distinctive creativity from across the city, including Reuben James, Knox Brown, Call Me Unique, RTKal, TrueMendous, Amerah Saleh, Deci4Life, YounGod, Juice Aleem, Trope, & Affie Jam.
Currently in its 6th edition, The Flyover Show is a unique alternative into the usual narrative of urban decay – reclaiming abandoned spaces, transforming them into outstanding arenas of creative opportunity & expression, and restoring the soul of the city. Starting in 2008, this ground breaking event continues to bring genres & age groups together, whilst overturning preconceptions about Black British culture & art within inner cities.
