A conversation between artist Henrietta Armstrong and curator Isabel de Vasconcellos about climate change and the marine environment.Henrietta Armstrong will talk about her sculpture 'Throwing Bones II', which is inspired by sea defences, which slow down coastal erosion.

After the talk Eco musician Jess Gold will sing about climate change. Participants will be invited to make a drawing inspired by the talk, music and the exhibition.


Henrietta Armstrong is a multimedia artist based in London, specialising in sculpture, installation and public art. BA Fine Art (Hons) at Sir John Cass School of Art. Recent exhibitions include ‘How Long is Forever’ at G37 Galerie, Berlin, ‘Sanctum Future’ solo show at Liminal Gallery, Margate and ‘Tideline’ at Messums West. She is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors and her work is part of the Soho House permanent collection.

Isabel de Vasconcellos. A curator, writer and cultural producer, Isabel featured Throwing Bones II in her group exhibition, Tideline at Messums West in 2022. She is the presenter of the Royal Society of Sculptors’ popular series of artist interviews, Behind the Studio Doors. @i_de_v

Jess Gold is an educator, musician and social entrepreneur.She co-founded School Councils UK, a not for profit innovating in the field of pupil voice.Jess created Project Earth Rock (PER), the world’s first song and animation curriculum about climate change for primary schools.
