a not-boring networking event that aims to get artists &amp; community groups  connecting over meaningful chats, a cup of tea and some free grub

Exeter Library

There are brilliant things going on in every corner of our city, but it can be hard to connect up the dots. Arts organisations are looking to meaningfully engage with new audiences, community organisations are trying to best support theirs and maybe both are only a conversation away from the perfect collaboration! The Gathering brings together Exeter based creatives and Exeter based community organisations to find out who's who, what's what and dream up what could be next. Join us for an evening of engaging &amp; snappy presentations, warmly held networking and, importantly, snacks and drinks - with pizza from The Flat being served up promptly at 6PM. After this, well have quick fire presentations from the following people, and then the chance to chat and polish off the pizza before the event ends at 7.45pm:<ol><li>Scratchworks Theatre Co</li><li>Refugee Support Devon</li><li>Stephen Smith (visula artist)</li><li>Ceri Baker (poet and Bard of Exeter)</li><li>St Sidwells Centre</li><li>Megan Dowsett (visula artist)</li><li>Inclusive Exeter</li><li>Carla Jenkins (Raw Writing)</li><li>Exeter Library</li></ol>Everybody is welcome to come along for free to find out more and engage! Though please do RSVP by booking a free ticket. Spaces are limited.This initiative is led by Exeter Library and local producer/director Katie Villa.
