The Great Easter Egg Hunt

Melton Mowbray Town Estate (MMTE.) is a charity organisation set up for the benefit of the townspeople of Melton Mowbray. MMTE. organises a wide range of events each year including music festivals and concerts as well as family events such as fireworks and inflatable theme parks. Many of the events we host are free to attend and some are ticketed events. The revenues we generate from our ticketed events are used to support the charitable activities of MMTE. Our ambition is to grow the number of events we host annually with a view to increasing the number of visitors who visit Melton Mowbray.

Welcome to The Great Easter Egg Hunt!New Park – 20th April 2025Hop on over to New Park (bandstand) for a fun-filled, family-friendly Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, 20th April 2025! This exciting event is set to take place from 11:00am to 2:00pm.Join us on our Easter trail to win a chocolate egg and meet the Easter Bunny on the way!With all of our activities beginning at 11am, children will learn how to spin plates, walk on mini stilts and show off their hoola hooping skills at our Circus play session!Don’t forget to pre-book our Bubble Football station, so your children can learn new sports skills whilst simultaneously having a blast! (All you parents are guaranteed to get lots of laughs watching your children bounce around too!) When the clock strikes midday, our Easter Bunny and helper will gather everyone together to get everyone ready to hunt for those eggs!Families will work together to follow the clues leading them to decorative eggs around the park. If you complete all the clues, you will win yourself a delicious chocolate egg! Throughout the day, get involved with the activities, get amazing photos with the Easter Bunny and you’ll even get to meet a real Baby Velociraptor!In addition to the egg hunt, there will be face painting, and a variety of fun games to keep the little ones entertained. For those looking for a snack, enjoy delicious treats from our local caterers J&amp;A Connells, including Easter-themed cupcakes, ice cream, and fresh lemonade.A special "Golden Egg" hunt will also take place, where one lucky hunter will have the chance to win a grand prize!The Easter Bunny will be hopping around throughout the day, ready to take pictures and meet the kids, so don’t forget your camera!Come, along and enjoy with your family and friends at New Park this Easter.
