Rhyl Events Arena

We&#x27;ll be in Rhyl, ‘eggsploring’ the shore in the search for shark eggcases!Explore Rhyl’s beach like never before by learning about our incredible local shark species, before venturing out onto the shore and searching for real shark and skate eggcases! You’ll then have the opportunity to learn how to ID the different eggcases and contribute towards conserving and protecting our Welsh sharks! This event is one of a series of Easter eggcase hunts organised by North Wales Wildlife Trust as partners of the nationwide Project SIARC (Sharks Inspiring Action and Research with Communities) initiative. The seas of Wales are teeming with life; beneath the often-murky waters are little understood species of shark, skate and ray. Project SIARC is catalysing links between fishers, research, communities and the government to help learn about and safeguard sharks, skates and rays in Welsh waters.By recording our finds from the event, we’ll be helping researchers to learn more about sharks, skates and rays in Wales.Find out more about Project SIARC here (<a href="https://www.projectsiarc.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.projectsiarc.com</a>).​​​​​​​*Please take note of the specific meeting place in your confirmation emails.
