About this event

Hailing from Hull, The Happy Endings were formed by core members Emma and Rachel Fee in 2005, having previously gigged together since the late 90s under the name The Fee Sisters.

They’ve been involved in the local music scene for some time, playing events including Humber Street Sesh and Eclectic Proms and gained national radio airplay on BBC 6 Music.

For live shows, they’re joined by John Cox (bass), Neil Fox or Dave Hughes (percussion) and Tim Mellins (lead guitar).

Their music is unapologetically power-pop, with soaring harmonies, memorable melodies , sometimes melancholic, sometimes joyous and always authentic, with notable influences such as The Beatles, The Band, Crowded House, Bright Eyes and Feist.

--- --- --- --- --- --- ---

Wholesome and playful, spacious and tasteful. Joyful tendencies and memorable melodies. Hardy & Hetherington bring a pretty blend of influences such as: Blues, Folk-pop, Country and Raga. All played intimately with two voices and two jumbo guitars.

Their debut album ‘Someplace, Somewhere, Anywhere’ dropped in winter 2024. All tracks are recorded completely live. The duo recently recorded a live session for BBC introducing at Dock Studios.
