Come and hear more about 'The Hod's' 40 years experience in the Building and Housing Industry from a Bricklaying Apprentice to becoming DIY SOS Project Manager followed by a delightful and homemade Afternoon Lunch within the beautiful surroundings of Chatsworth House.
Ian will be joining us The Property and Construction Partnership on his home turf of Deryshire to share many stories, knowledge and experience with you all so this is definately an East Midlands event not to be missed.
As DIY SOS Project Manager then Ian leads teams of professionals and volunteers in delivering life-changing construction projects for families and charities with a strong focus on sustainability and community impact.
Being no stranger to the small screen, Ian will also share his expereince of getting his team involved with BBC 3 fly-on-the-wall documetary 'The Bricikies' as well as sharing his wealth of knowledge, expertise and expereince of starting out in the industry as a Bricklaying apprentice to where he is now highlighting the changes and challenges he has faced along the way.
Ian is also passionate about promoting the building trades as a rewarding career, advocating education, mentoring and career development within the industry and will share with you his mission to change outdated perceptions of the sector to support the next generation of skilled professionals.
