Author of six critically acclaimed novels for children.He is currently a Contributing Editor atLiterary Reviewand writes forThe Daily Telegraph,The Guardian,The Spectator, andThe Times Literary Supplement,among other papers. This year he is teaching Children's and Young Adult Fiction at Royal Holloway University, and is Patron of Reading at the John Roane School in South London.

Join children’s authors Philip Womack and Zanna Davidson for imaginative and fun workshops in the Easter Holidays!
Philip Womack is the author of 6 critically acclaimed novels for children, including The Double Axe. He has led and designed many creative writing workshops for children. 
Zanna Davidson has written over 60 books for children, including the Fairy Ponies series. She organised the Leith Hill Children’s Festival in 2016.
Session One: Monday 3rd April 2017 11am-1pm
Recommended for 5-7 year olds
SPACE INVADERS! – A creative workshop themed around ‘space’ with character building activities, followed by a chance to create your own story comic.
Session Two: Monday 3rd April 2017 2pm-4pm
Recommended for 7-11 year olds
STORY QUEST! – Create your own imaginary worlds and characters with expert help from Philip and Zanna, followed by a story building session.
Session One: Tuesday 4th April 2017 11am-1pm
Recommended for 5-7 year olds
TWISTED FAIRYTALES! – Enter a world of twisted tales and create your own enchanted story. What would happen if the three little pigs went to the ball? Or if the bears decided to get their revenge on Goldilocks? How would you feel as one of the Ugly Sisters, stuck in Cinderella’s fairytale?  
Session Two: Tuesday 4th April 2017 2pm-4pm
Recommended for 7-11 year olds
MONSTERS! – Be inspired by the world of monsters; from terrifying, three-headed dogs to frost giants and water dragons. Weave stories around them and create a world of your own mythical beasts.
