Build Influence TogetherWe all want to develop a good reputation through the work we perform. But there's something more we can do to establish our name and increase pulling power - this is the principle behind the IN-Crowd, where we examine:<ul><li>the things we say</li><li>the way we behave</li><li>the connections we make</li></ul>Our aim is to encourage professionals and business owners (especially service providers) to differentiate themselves from their competitors, raise their profile and attract opportunities. We do this by hosting events (both F2F and virtual) where we explore, in a safe and collaborative environment, how to build 'influence' in our sector.How do you build influence? We believe this is possible by using the following strategies: <ul><li>Networking</li><li>Social media </li><li>Blogging</li><li>Video</li></ul>And then, the 6 P's...<ul><li>Public speaking</li><li>Podcasts</li><li>Panels</li><li>Publications (eg manifestos, books)</li><li>Partnerships</li><li>Purpose</li></ul>If you like the idea of drawing people towards you (because of the things you say and share), of having people really value what you offer, of building a powerful network of advocates and having the support and encouragement of others along the way - then you'll really enjoy the IN-Crowd!What happens at IN-Crowd events?Each event, whether virtual or F2F features an expert slot and an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences. Each event features ONE of the topics from the list above. Delegates will be encouraged to interact and share examples of their own efforts at influence-building.Please note, our inaugural event on 28th September will involve a broader look at all these topics.This is primarily a learning &amp; development concept in a safe and supportive environment. Attendees benefit from the expertise and knowledge drawn from each other, the hosts and invited specialists.Connections will naturally emerge from the shared experience of learning and giving, but this should not be viewed as a networking concept per se.
