This event is designed to provide a safe, supportive space for those affected by trauma. Our aim is to foster an empowering community where you can find solidarity with those who’ve faced similar struggles.


Our Speakers:

Dr Angela Kennedy is an eminent Clinical Psychologist and former NHS director and regional mental health lead with decades of experience working with the consequences of abuse and trauma. She spearheaded the UK's movement towards trauma-informed approaches and compassionate leadership. She also set up a region's staff support service during covid and was a trustee of the Covid Healthcare Support Appeal. In recent years she has brought her artistic lens closer to her work, which includes producing a documentary on recovery from suicide.

Dr Deba Choudhury is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She is the founder of DCP Therapy, an independent psychological therapy practice established for almost 10 years based in the City of London and Surrey. Dr Deba takes a tailor-made holistic approach to all cases and uses a range of clinical models including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Experiential Dynamic Therapies and Schema Therapy.

Shelley Bradley-Scholey is a UK-based trauma expert, accredited EMDR Consultant, BABCP-certified CBT therapist, and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 20 years of experience in mental health, including 13 years in Defence Mental Health Services. She holds a MSc in CBT Research from the University of Oxford and is the founder of Fortitude Psychological Therapy, offering trauma-focused therapy, supervision, and teaching. A guest lecturer at Oxford and Exeter Universities, published author, and public speaker, Shelley integrates EMDR, Beckian CBT, and Compassion-Focused Therapy into her survivor-centered, compassionate approach to healing.
