First performed at the Royal Court in 1959, Arnold Wesker’s epic masterpiece dramatizes the relentless drudgery and frantic toil of a busy restaurant kitchen - a mechanised hell populated by a multitude of chefs and waitresses all battling to satisfy the customer.
As pressure mounts and tensions escalate, the kitchen steadily simmers towards boiling point...
