- I take full responsibility for everyone in my booking and ensure their compliance with all the rules, signs, and instructions enforced at Jamieson's Farm Shop.
- I acknowledge that my child/children will remain my sole responsibility throughout our visit, and I will ensure that all members of my party follow the advice given and conduct themselves appropriately.
- I will dress my child/children accordingly for the weather conditions, and ensure that everyone wears suitable footwear and I accept that we are not responsible for any damage to shoes, and will bring a change of footwear for after our visit due to potential bacteria sticking to our shoes.
- I also understand that all animals can bite, and I will not provoke or agitate them in any way that could be harmful to myself, others, or the animals.
All animals naturally carry a range of bugs, some of which can be passed onto humans. Examples of these bugs, but not limited to, are E.coli 0157, cryptosporidium, and coccidiosis. PLEASE NOTE HAND GEL/SANITISER IS NOT EFFECTIVE IN KILLING THESE BACTERIA. We have a hand washing station that should be used with hot water and soap. To ensure a healthy and enjoyable visit, we ask that everyone adhere to the following:
- Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
- Children and adults must wash their hands upon leaving all animal contact areas, after touching or feeding animals, and after touching gates, barriers, feeders, etc.
- Do not allow children to drink lambs’ milk or put fingers in their mouths in animal touching areas.
- Please refrain from eating or drinking in the feeding/cuddling areas.
- Follow any instructions given by staff for safety reasons.
- If you are pregnant or suspect you might be, we advise against visiting the lambing shed due to potential risks; please consult NHS or government websites for more information.
- Photographs and videos may be taken of you and your children, and you grant Jamieson’s Farm Shop full rights to use these images for publicity, including online and printed media. If you are not the child's parent or legal guardian, you confirm you have authority to sign on their behalf.
- All children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult in the shed. To ensure access, please purchase enough tickets for your entire group, as the shed capacity is limited to six people per pen.
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items. Entry to the shed and pens is at your own risk; we are not liable for injuries or damage resulting from slips, trips, falls, bites, kicks, or other incidents. In the unlikely event of an incident or loss of personal effects, we accept no liability except for injuries caused by our negligence, and you waive all claims against us on behalf of your party.
