HEADLINING - LUCY PEARMAN

Lucy is a highly regarded comedian known for her unique and surreal style, which has earned her acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and beyond. A former Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer nominee, she is celebrated for her inventive and engaging shows that often involve props, audience participation, and clowning. She is a frequent and well-received performer at the Edinburgh Fringe, and has appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Coundown, and is a writer on LOL: Last One Laughing UK (hosted by Jimmy Carr)

Her work has been met with widespread critical acclaim and formally recognised by major comedy awards:

  • BAFTA nomination for ‘PLEASE HELP’ which she wrote, starred in and produced
  • Edinburgh Comedy Awards: Nominated for Best Newcomer for her show Maid of Cabbage
  • Leicester Comedy Festival Awards: Nominated for Best Show in 2019 and Best Variety Show in 2025
  • Malcolm Hardee Award for COMIC ORIGINALITY in 2025 at the Edinburgh Fringe

Reviewers consistently praise Pearman's commitment to her whimsical premises and her ability to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere with the audience.

SEAN GORMAN

Sean has quickly proven to have a bright future in stand up. Within the first couple of years he reached the finals of the Reading Fringe New Act, Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act and South Coast Comedian of The Year competitions.

In 2024 he was selected as part of the prestigious Best In Class showcase at The Edinburgh Fringe, which went on to win the panel prize at The Edinburgh-ISH Comedy Awards, and received multiple 4 Star reviews from publications including The Scotsman.

Displaying the stage presence of a more seasoned comedian, his deadpan delivery and self deprecating humour has the audience hanging on every word. Sean can be seen performing at some of the best and most famous comedy clubs on the UK circuit including The Comedy Store, Downstairs At The Kings Head and Backyard Comedy Club, as well as many other clubs across the UK and Europe.

"He is a good writer and a promising performer. It will certainly be interesting to see how Gorman evolves"

- Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke

"He is an assured stage presence and ventures into some personal territory…as well as engaging in knockabout fun with the crowd"

- The Scotsman

Alongside that, Don recently recorded a comedy special for BBC Radio 4 entitled ‘Neurotopical’ and has appeared on Radio 4’s 13 Million Club, Rosie Jones’s Boxticker as well as UKTV Digitals Rosie Jones’s Disabled Comedy Extravaganza BBC Onlines Future Food Stars and BBC Asian Network Comedy night.

“By the quality of his jokes alone, including a choice one about a corporate gig for the DWP, Biswas is the show’s star turn.”
