Bowelbabe Fundraiser for Cancer Research

This walk is a fundraiser in aid of Lucy’s Himalayan trek for Bowelbabe in 2026. All donations welcome.

We will be crossing the Thames via the IFS Cloud Cable Car

You can book tickets in advance or use Oyster or pay on the day. Concessions are available. This is an extra cost. Please note in high winds or maintenance issues the cable car can be closed at short notice, in which case we would get the DLR and Jubilee Line to North Greenwich.

About The LIne

The Line is a fascinating public art project in East London that connects Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The O2, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian. On the way, it passes many public art works and also some little known and interesting areas of the Lea River and Docklands, plus it includes a thrilling cable car ride across the Thames with far reaching views. This is a walk not to be missed.

We have mapped the route to make it easy to follow and also added in an extra section to make it one continuous walk and avoid the DLR section on the original route.

This route is flat bar a few ramps and steps and is entirely on tarmac or good paths. Cross the Thames by cable car.
